WooThemes wp_nav_menu works with Ad Rotate

I am using the Ad Rotate plugin with WooThemes Busy Bee Theme. I am now upgraded to WP 3.0 and updating my theme.

My question involves placing an ad in my Navigation Menu.

Before, with a simple wp_list_pages() I would just put your function right before it so that I could have a Menu Text Link Ad in my navigation.

Now, with the wp_nav_menu() I don’t know how to integrate your plugin into that function as it generates the

I was thinking an action hook would be the answer, but I am lowly front-end developer (and mostly a designer), so I am putting the question to both the WooTheme Community and the developer.

I hope that makes sense. And I hope I have an answer soon

The Master Cleanse

The Master Cleanse website was my first content website, that first went live in January of 2006. The intent of this website was always to serve as my testing grounds for how to “Make Money Online”. I have been using the website to learn lessons in niche marketing and social media.

Like all of my websites, TheMasterCleanse.org does not have a custom, fancy design. It is simple, and branded for continuity. Content is King after all. I am saving my designs for for on launches, not testing ground.

Since the launch, the website has become the niche leader in Search Engine Results for primary keywords (Master Cleanse and variations). The results are substantial traffic and revenue potential (which after all is sort of the point –at least from my perspective). This website has allowed me the opportunity to implement the spectrum of tools, techniques and systems to manage the website through all Orders of Magnitude; from Research, Design and Development, through Content creation, Optimization and Marketing, culminating in Monetizatization, Management and Mastering. All of these areas of expertise have served as the Research for my Make Money Online venture which will provide tutorials, videos, tools, systems, and most importantly –Community– for a new venture called “SiteRighter”, which is set to launch in the summer of 2010.

Grey Cup Fan Connect

Trevor Turnbull and I were contracted by The Grey Cup Festival to hold a Social Media Video Contest. We utilized a small budget of passes, tickets, and merchandise to gather Fan Video to post on Grey Cup Festival properties, driving traffic and engaging the community. We implemented a social strategy including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Flickr and deployed a website to host and serve as the hub to the spokes of the social network contents.

Sport-Fan Connect

Sport-Fan Connect is my current adventure. What started out as an ultimate sports trip –two weeks on the East Coast from Washington to Boston and spanning 4 leagues turned into something more when my college Trevor Turnbull and I began to discover an opportunity for not only a more meaningful trip, but to learn as well.

We interviewed executives, players, fans, and social media leaders in each fan base for each team. The result was a tremendous amount of insight into the workings of Social Media in Sport today. The website (and dream) lives on. We will continue to attend world-wide premier sporting events, either as a fan or an agent for social media for the years to come. The Sport Fan Connect Website well continue to be used to publish our findings on Social Media in Sports.

Target Page Navigation

This plugin was developed to enable a Page to be displayed in a certain navigation object. Most websites have only a handful of navigation objects such as a Super Navigation (at the very top of the page, above the header), a Head Navigation (the primary navigation of the Header), a Side Navigation (displayed in the sidebar), and a Footer Navigation (in the footer). Of course there are more or less depending on the website but these are pretty standard.

The plugin is very simple. Add a template tag to replace wp_list_pages() function with wp_list_navtype_pages(). Then on the Page=>Edit screen of the wordpress admin backend, check which Navigation object you wish the page to be displayed in.

You can effectively hide the page by not displaying it anywhere.
